Technology rocks, i can’t wait to get one of these to eat my cheerios out of! oh and once the kid get big enough to eat cheerios it will be sweet for that as well. loopabowl.com
Below is a seven second audio clip of the babys heartbeat. Kimi found it with our fetal doppler heart rate monitor. It was the first time we found it besides the super good one the doctor had when we went 2 weeks ago.
Kimi read this and shared it with me from MLIA and I don’t think I would of found it as funny if we weren’t pregnant.
Today I told my husband I am pregnant. His response? We should talk to the baby for the first 3 years of it’s life in a British accent, just so it can adapt it and be the cool kid at school. I knew I picked the right guy. MLIA
Its a sweet idea but i have enough trouble with English let alone English with a British accent. I just hope I have provided Kimi with a couple of moments where she knew she picked the right guy.
Here is a goodie from my mPregnancy app on my iPhone. This is the last informational point about week 12 of the pregnancy and it blew my mind.
“The fetus has now peed for its first time. It can now move more and among other things flex its arms and kick the legs. It might even put its thumb in the mouth. The fetus is now about 2.1 inches long”
12 weeks and it’s peeing! I wonder when it goes number 2 for the first time?
Today we are twelve weeks along!!! We are going public with our pregnancy. It works out perfectly with us hosting an Osu vs Penn st party today that we have had planned since mid summer. That’s is amazing. So I would like everyone to take a second and go outside and alert the world Michael and Kimi are pregnant.
So one morning i come down stairs to see kimi half way through the movie Marley and Me. I have never read the book or seen the movie before, but i knew how it was going to end, with kimi balling her eyes out. Trying to be a good husband and knowing how emotional she is right now i tried to get her to change the channel figuring crying over a movie isn’t that good for her. She was hooked on the movie and there was no changing the channel so i strapped myself in the the emotional roller-coaster to follow. It was the most intense final 30 minutes of a movie i have ever been thought.
Earlier this morning i got a message from Kimi and the conversation went as followed:
kimi fowler : hallmark commercials should be banned
michael fowler : why is that?
kimi fowler : make me cry
michael fowler : hormones getting the best of you?
kimi fowler : yes
I think everything that could make a pregant woman cry should be labed in the upper left hand corner like the tv shows. What you are about to watch is rated PPT for Potential Pregnancy Tears.
Notice the post time of this article. Kimi has been in bed for about 2 hours. Don’t get me wrong i’m glad she is getting her rest but the baby has grown from smaller than a match head to about the size of a match head the past week and she is super tired. I wonder what time she will go to bed when its the size of a football, maybe before 8? I know that i have been to bed around 9 o’clock a couple times the past 3 week so i guess i don’t have too much room to give Kimi a hard time.
Update: i guess there isn’t a time on the posts so the time when i wrote is was 10:30.
